Overview
Design defaults for building and reviewing BDS components and the product UI built on them.
Guidelines are the design judgment behind BDS: the small decisions that make an interface feel considered. They are written for contributors building component proposals, for reviewers, and for coding agents working in this repo.
These are defaults to follow while building and to reference in review, not a strict pass/fail checklist. Use judgment for context-specific exceptions, and note why when you deviate.
